Gea Schoenmakers is our favorite silversmith in town. She designs under the name Esparc Jewelry. Her work features combinations of precious metals, gems and enamel, leading to surprising results. You can visit Gea and Esparc on the Westerstraat 196, where you will find the work of number of designers.
If you have special wishes, Gea can design a personal and unique piece for you.

In the Western docklands of Amsterdam lies a green oasis called Ruigoord. The village is a cultural free state, where artists, craftsmen and free-thinkers escape the city to work on their art or to simply to enjoy the feeling of freedom.
On most Saturdays you can dance in the Church until the sun comes up. On most Sundays the Church is open for some nice and easy (live) music, poetry and homemade food. A few times a year, you can experience one of the magical festivals of Ruigoord. When visiting, please respect it’s residents and keep the village clean and safe! Check out the calendar to see what’s happening! www.ruigoord.nl
Getting there by Public Transport: Go to Sloterdijk Station and take bus 82 (direction IJmuiden). The journey from Sloterdijk takes about 15 minutes.
